Rusty Santos is a Los Angeles-based producer and musician known for his contributions to indie music and experimental pop. He first gained attention producing Animal Collective’s Sung Tongs and through his collaboration with Panda Bear on Person Pitch.

Rusty’s versatility spans epochs, having produced and mixed records for artists like Born Ruffians, Dirty Projectors, and Dawn of Midi, bringing a distinctive perspective to each project.

His solo work explores subliminal territory, showcasing his innovative approach to music production and composition.

Rusty’s deep roots in the acoustic and electronic psychedelia scene, including collaborations with Black Dice and Gang Gang Dance, have helped shape his sonic identity.
